Species List

Citizens
Faeries - The smallest of the citizens. People native to the city are used to their presense, but newcomers are often tripped up by them. An adult male faery is normally about 5-6 inches tall, and won't like you commenting on his size much. Their accent is said to be vaguely Scandinavian. They are often employed to do jobs that "big people" couldn't do, and are very proud of their nimble fingers, silver tongues and ability to fly into tiny spaces.
Humans - Normal humans. They are mostly in the Inner City, but there's plenty of them in the Outer City too.
Trolls - Normal Homestuck trolls. They come in a wide variety of blood colors, but the seadwellers like to stay in the Inner City. They used to have a system for blood color hierarchy, but it's fallen apart and now most trolls don't care. But the higher on the hemospectrum one is, the more money they have at their disposal. And the less likely they are to lend it to others.
Beastiary
Birds - Messenger pigeons are very popular with the older folks, but less and less citizens are using them. Chickens and ducks are classic, as are parakeets and any other "pet" bird.
Cats - They come in all colors and sizes, and there's tons of them running stray around the City. They're very well-kept in the Inner City, with many people going out to groom strays and feed them. In the Outer City, however, there are less spoiled cats who may prefer stealing their meal.
Dogs - Like cats, they come in all shapes and colors and sizes. There aren't as many, though, and they mostly stay in the Outer City.
Dragons - They are only seen in the very outskirts of the Outer City. Small dragons are sometimes chosen as rides, but it takes someone with perfect aerial intuition to ride one. Most are larger and much more dangerous, and live outside the city where they may choose to hunt unsuspecting travellers.
