Acquariet is based off a universe created by Jotaku. It is a city in a big valley on a floating rock. In the center of the city is a huge tree, which magically produces water. So much water, in fact, that the Inner City has water ways in stead of roads. Hence gondolas instead of cars.
The city is also divided into two parts; the Inner City and the Outer City. The Inner city is where the higher class/financially well off people live. It is the center of town, well controlled, and generally very peaceful. The Outer City is sort of like the slums, only much prettier. It’s a bit run down, and there are more walkways than canals, as the Outer City climbs the rock walls surrounding the city. There is more crime here and the living is a bit rougher.
Your character may have been born here, or maybe the tree used its magic to draw them in. Either way, they are here now, for god knows how long. Better make the best of it.
